Hi, I read an article you wrote re: green clay masks and you said not to let them dry on your skin…I purchased some a week ago and have been mixing it with apple cider vinegar as the woman at the health food store suggested..now I look like I’ve aged 10 years in one week…is the dryness irreversible or can I moisturize my skin back to normal…I am freakin’ out over how dry it is…

    Hi Jolie,

no, the dryness you can see and feel on your face isn’t irreversible, but it may take some time to get rid of it. Both green clay and apple cider vinegar can be very drying and are more appropriate for extremely oily skin types. Make sure to drink a lot of water, eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and to enrich your diet with good fats like extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, grass fed butter and omega 3 fatty acids (ideally from fermented cod liver oil – even though it’s pretty untasty).
